Concrete Overlay & Staining Makeover
There are many reasons for staining your concrete floor. It’s much easier to keep clean than carpet, which is perfect for those with allergies. Staining creates a surface like no other.
However, when staining concrete, sometimes there are so many imperfections in the concrete that a concrete overlay is needed. This gives us a brand new slate to work with and often times creates a much better finished product.
Today’s post is highlighting a concrete overlay and staining project completed this summer.
Here is what we started with:
Our client recently renovated their kitchen area and wanted to bring it all together by adding stained concrete floors. Solid Impressions to the rescue!
We hand ground the entire floor which gave us the perfect surface to apply our polymer modified concrete overlayment. We use only the industries best overlayment. There are many products on the market, however, you usually get what you pay for and we use only the best for our clients.
Next we applied the concrete stain with was selected by the client. This included several shades of brown and black stain.
Here is what it looked like after it was all completed:
Floor care: Mop with a gentle detergent when needed. Re-wax every 6 months or so.
Price Point: $5+ sq ft
Concrete staining is by far our most asked about and contracted type of work. It creates a surface like no other, one that you and your family will enjoy for years to come.
